History

We are looking for an adoptive home for Rocket
Rocket is a typical sniffy Spaniel, but he is a worried boy and needs an experienced and understanding home.

About me

Rocket is an anxious and worried boy, especially around children and new people, but once he gets to know you, he is extremely loving and loyal. He needs an experienced and quiet home with someone around most of the time to build his confidence. He must be the only dog in the home and needs someone with patience and understanding to help him through his issues with noise and people. He is a very clever boy and knows to sit down, head down, and drop it. He will do these for treats, which he loves, and he loves to play with his toys, especially a game of tug! Rocket hasn’t had much chance to run off the lead as his recall isn’t the best, so he would need someone to work with this as well.

Rocket is currently going to attend a rehabilitation centre to help him learn how to be a dog again.

My temperament with other dogs

Rocket can get scared if dogs crowd him, but on his own terms, he is keen to play.

Type of home needed

Rocket needs a quiet, adult-only home.

Where am I based?

Rocket will shortly be going to doggy rehab to show him how to be a dog again and won’t be available for at least 3 weeks.

Please contact us if you can offer a home to Rocket.

Can you offer one of our dogs a home?

We are looking for foster families and adoptive families.

A home check will be required, along with an adoption donation of between £200 to £500 which helps to contribute to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.  Your case handler will advise the cost of each dog

Please have a read of our adoption process  so you can prepare for how we will work with you and the possible dog. We also offer help and support for you both in the future with our behaviourists, Lisa & Amanda
