Nelly is a beautiful little girl who just needs someone experienced with the breed to bring her out of herself. She is currently looking for a foster so she can be assessed in a home environment a little more.

Although she has bitten once, it would seem tat she was protecting the female owner. Nelly is muzzle trained should she need it but we feel that with the right family, she will soon learn how to relax.

She is a little afraid of wheelie bins and doesn’t like people walking behind her. Although she pulls a little when out but once she’s settled she loves her walks. Nelly is very much ball obsessed and prefers her ball to a tasty treat but no signs of resource guarding have been observed.

Although she can be a little nervous when she first meets you, she can be won over by playing ball with her. Her assessor says that she is a little highly strung and isn’t keen on little people or other dogs in her space but not aggressive, more highly strung, and should be rehomed with no children and someone who is home most of the day. Nelly should be the only dog in the home

Help us find Nelly a home!

Can you offer one of our dogs a home?

We are looking for foster families and adoptive families.

A home check will be required, along with an adoption donation of between £200 to £500 which helps to contribute to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.  Your case handler will advise the cost of each dog

Please have a read of our adoption process  so you can prepare for how we will work with you and the possible dog. We also offer help and support for you both in the future with our behaviourists, Lisa & Amanda
