Izzy’s Happy Ending: From Christmas Rescue to Forever Home

Izzy’s journey from a Christmas rescue to a life full of love, zoomies, and cuddles is one you won’t want to miss!

Just before Christmas, a group of Sprocker Spaniels found themselves in need of urgent rescue. Among them was Izzy, a bright-eyed bundle of energy who quickly made an impression on everyone she met. From the very beginning, it was clear that Izzy was full of life, love, and, well… a whole lot of mischief!

Izzy’s journey isn’t without its challenges. Described by her dog trainer (who has a spaniel himself) as ‘not the easiest’ spaniel he’s worked with, she certainly keeps her new family on their toes. She is full of excitement, always eager to greet every dog she meets, and absolutely hates being left alone. Luckily, a crate has helped her feel more secure, but she much prefers company.

Despite the early mornings—yes, she’s a 5:15 AM riser!—and her boundless enthusiasm, Izzy has quickly become an irreplaceable part of her family. Her super-friendly nature and her love for cuddles, especially first thing in the morning, melted their hearts. She might be hard work, but she’s worth every moment.

Now settled into her new home, Izzy has found the perfect family who adore her for exactly who she is. They’ve embraced her quirks, her zoomies, and her endless affection, and they wouldn’t have it any other way.

From a Christmas rescue to a happy-ever-after, Izzy’s story is a reminder of why we do what we do at Sprocker Assist and Rescue. Every dog deserves a chance to find their perfect home, and for Izzy, that mission is complete!
