Gunner has come to us following his owner’s continuing bad health issues and is looking for an experienced Sprocker foster. He is currently living in West Sussex. During his assessment he encountered on lead dogs and off lead dogs chasing balls. He showed no reactivity then or when he walked past a group of cyclists. No issues with traffic or people walking towards him. No avoidance behaviours. He loves attention and comes to you for contact, you do not have to call him over to you. He is clearly very social towards people and when playing fetch he loves to retrieve and bring his ball back to you. Her will let you take his toy out of his mouth and doesn’t try to grip onto it. He is happy to swap the toy when you offer him a treat. He knows basic commands such as sit and stay. His assessor says, “Gunner is adorable. You can see he thrives on human interaction and affection. Although he pulls on the lead it is due to pure excitement.”

Can you offer one of our dogs a home?

We are looking for foster families and adoptive families.

A home check will be required, along with an adoption donation of between £200 to £500 which helps to contribute to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.  Your case handler will advise the cost of each dog

Please have a read of our adoption process  so you can prepare for how we will work with you and the possible dog. We also offer help and support for you both in the future with our behaviourists, Lisa & Amanda
