Finn is a calm dog up until he is left and then becomes quite distressed. According to his current owner he does like to pick things up on his walks, this would need to be monitored by either giving him a job when he is on his walks such as carrying a ball or something similar, if this is not possible then he would need muzzle training and using a muzzle on his walks to prevent him picking things up and eating them. An experienced home with the knowledge of how to work with a dog that has separation distress and noise sensitivity issues. The behaviours could be assisted with a modification plan, but the prospective fosters/adopters would need to be patient and thorough with the process. A retired couple would be ideal so Finn could be with them at all times.

Can you offer one of our dogs a home?

We are looking for foster families and adoptive families.

A home check will be required, along with an adoption donation of between £200 to £500 which helps to contribute to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.  Your case handler will advise the cost of each dog

Please have a read of our adoption process  so you can prepare for how we will work with you and the possible dog. We also offer help and support for you both in the future with our behaviourists, Lisa & Amanda
