Bubbles by name and Bubbles by nature. This pretty girl has come to us following a change in her owner’s circumstances and is ready for her foster home. Her assessor says , “Unfortunately we did not see dogs or cats on our walk, but the owners have said she can sometimes be a little vocal towards other dogs when she is on lead (frustration due to wanting to play), if the dog approaches her she is apparently submissive but will mirror play based behaviours if the other dog wants to play. If she is off lead it is 50/50 if she will recall before approaching the other dog, again will be submissive or mirror play. If a dog was to pop at her in this scenario she apparently wouldn’t retaliate but instead would show submissive behaviours.”

A typical Sprocker, she loves to chase birds and squirrels and though she understands ‘heel’ she does let her instincts get the better of her occasionally. She isn’t really into rope/tug type toys and was but more ball oriented, she will happily play fetch and would release the ball in front of you without snatching to snatch. Non ball type toys she would sometimes put in your hand but no signs or guarding of toys. She will exchange any toy for food and takes treats without hesitation and was very gentle in doing so.
She knows the leave command and she will wait while you put food on her paws then take off to give her her treat.

Bubbles is a very clever girl, knowing sit, down, paw, other paw, roll over, high 5, wait for the treat from a distance or on paw, drop, wait, bed (in her crate) and although she isn’t great in the car, she will happily travel short distances and prefers her crate to be covered in the back of the car. (She will probably be able to be helped with this over time)

Help find me a home!

Can you offer one of our dogs a home?

We are looking for foster families and adoptive families.

A home check will be required, along with an adoption donation of between £200 to £500 which helps to contribute to kennel fees, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neutering, flea/worming treatment and other veterinary costs. This adoption fee will contribute to the care of all our dogs.  Your case handler will advise the cost of each dog

Please have a read of our adoption process  so you can prepare for how we will work with you and the possible dog. We also offer help and support for you both in the future with our behaviourists, Lisa & Amanda
