Andrea is the only one of the team that doesnt have Sprockers but has 3 Staffie crosses and a Puggle.

As well as helping us out Andrea is also a Trustee for a Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue.

Andrea joined SAR a couple of years ago and although for her, her favourite breed is the SBT, she is passionate about helping all dogs in rescue regardless of their breed

Louise Saggers

Re-Homing Team Leader
Louise lives in North Yorkshire close to the Yorkshire Dales. She loves to be out walking with her dog, Harry,  and meeting friends for group walks. Louise works in the emergency services and has been in healthcare since leaving school. She has a grown up son who is married and is soon to be a grandma to twins. She is currently doing a PG Cert at University and aim to finish this in the summer.  She adopted Harry from SAR in June 2016 and later that year was asked if she would become a volunteer in home checks and transport. Then very quickly was asked to join the re homing team. Louise has now successfully re homed many dogs and still has contact with almost all of them. She is passionate about dogs and ensuring they find the best possible home. Each dog has different needs and these need to be met. It’s amazing to see how they flourish in their new forever homes.
