We have our fabulous behaviourist, Keri Corbett, who is involved with most of our rehoming cases in some way.
She is there for behaviourist support in many ways. We ask that basic obedience and training is dealt with by the adopters.
Keri will step in and help with behaviourist advice when needed. This can be done over the phone, depending on the issues. Any aggression is only ever dealt with in-person – never over the phone. If Keri lives in travelling distance, we will sort a visit and support. If she does not, then we will pay for a local fully qualified behaviourist to assist.
Keri’s advice can be as little or as much as needed – she can be involved in just one phone call, but is also still involved in some complex cases many years later.
